I had a pleasant stay at Terminal Hotel, which is conveniently located right next to the JR Matsuyama station. The staff made a lasting impression with their friendly and attentive service. Although the hotel is simple and somewhat dated, it was very clean and functional. The hotel is great value for money, especially considering the accessibility to the tram system that can take you around the city. However, the distance from the city center might be a slight inconvenience for some.

I spent three nights at this hotel, and while the rates were low, the place felt quite dated and worn out. Its prime spot right next to the JR Train station was a huge plus for my travel plans, but the noise from the trains made it difficult to get a good night's sleep. Overall, if you're on a tight budget and need a convenient location, this might work for you, but don't expect anything too luxurious.
